1: We condemn the wars of aggression and occupation carried out by U.S. imperialism and its allies against the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan, and by the US client state of Israel against the Palestinian people. These wars only serve the interests of the oil and other monopoly corporations. We support the resistance of these peoples by any means necessary against imperialists and their agents.
2: We condemn the open interference and threats by imperialism and its agents against Cuba, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Iran and all countries that are fighting to maintain their national sovereignty, to take measures to defend their territory against attack and to control their natural resources. We condemn the support by IUS imperialism to reactionary governments that are trying to repress the resistance of the peoples, such as the Uribe government in Colombia, the Macapagal-Arroyo government in the Philippines and the Erdogan government in Turkey/North Kurdistan.
3: We support the struggles of the peoples of Latin America against imperialism and pro-oligarch regimes; we support the governments of Latin American countries that are defending their sovereignty, such as Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador. The “backyard” of US imperialism is becoming a forward area of struggle against imperialism.
4: We condemn globalization as a form of imperialism. In its fight to control and privatize everything from communications to schools and hospitals and even water, imperialism is condemning the workers and oppressed peoples to a life of poverty and misery as slaves to the multinational corporations.
5:We support the struggles of the working people in the imperialist countries, in Western Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and also the US in defense if their living standards and working conditions. The working people have been under stack by their imperialist governments who want to take away their pension rights, social security, privatize health care and education. These struggles are an important component of the worldwide fight against imperialism.
6: We salute the new government of Nepal led by the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and the Constituent Assembly of Nepal, which have rid Nepal of the hundred year old monarchy, as a first step towards a people’s democratic republic and socialism in the roof of the world.
7: The collapse of the big mortgage and insurance companies in the U.S. show the crisis of capitalism. Capital in the imperialist countries is more and more based on speculation, while production is more and more being shipped to the dependent countries. We condemn the $700 Billion Dollar bailout to the big banks and insurance companies, which demonstrate once again, as the Communist Manifesto stated: “The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie.”
Further, we wish to pint out to the workers of the world that Socialism already has shown its superiority over capitalism when, while the capitalist world was suffering from the Great Economic Depression in the 1930’s, the Socialist Soviet Union eliminated unemployment and began building up an advanced economy in the interests of all of the working people.
8: We condemn the recent attack by the reactionary Saakashvili regime of Georgia, with military weapons provided by Zionist Israel, on South Ossetia and Abkhazia. In this attack Saakashvili was acting as a puppet of U.S. imperialism, which is surrounding Russia with states dependent upon the U.S. and NATO. South Ossetia and Abkhazia along with other oppressed peoples have the right to self-determination. Under the Socialist USSR, the different nations and nationalities lived in peace and enjoyed that right.
At the same time, we call upon all the workers and all
nationalities of Russia to give no support to the capitalist regime of
Medvedev-Putin, which is only trying to consolidate its own imperialist
interests in that region.
